Our mission at Kama'aina Gold® is to make a positive impact on our Hawaiian community through local action in the hemp industry. Family Owned & Operated 

Kama'aina Gold was founded by Rusty and Celia Tapp, a husband and wife duo who bring a unique set of skills to the company. Rusty is a versatile agriculturalist with backgrounds in farming, construction, and land development. He is also a generational cannabis farmer! Celia is an active plant scientist who teaches at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, and is a tropical flower farmer specializing in product innovation and quality control protocols. Her expertise includes aseptic invitro micropropogation and tropical plant improvement.

 

Together, Rusty and Celia have formed a dynamic team that is working to make a positive difference in the Hawaiian community. At Kama'aina Gold, we believe in the power of local action and are proud to be leaders in the hemp industry.
